Formally at Monument Road Clevedon, Auckland, New Zealand for over 30 years and now at Mercer.
Mercer Airfield, which has a total length of 1200m, is our new our home base and we can operate from the sealed runway or the grass runway adjacent to the seal.
Mercer is a full size airfield and the model flying area is situated about 300m from the eastern end of the runway and an observer is mandatory as well as listening out on a radio for full size movements. The airfield is not very busy but skydiving operates at any time and pilot training with touch and go circuits happen occasionally.
